Also a 10-minute drive away, is the beach of Bali which attracts tourists because of its small, secluded beaches etc.

The national road (1km) links most major towns on the north coast of the island and offers easy access to: Rethymno [15 minutes]; Heraklio [45 minutes] to the city and/ or the airport; Chania [75 minutes] to the city and/ or the airport.
