These
boarding kennels, opened in November 2007, are been built in a fantastic
location surrounded by woodland. They are owned and run by Kimberley & Peter and
have been constructed to a high
specification, with over 6 months taken in planning the design alone to ensure
that the kennels meet exacting standards. This was after 17 months of searching for the exact/right site
which would cater for a professional kennels with that ‘personal’ touch.
Having only 10 kennels, specifically limited, so that the dogs in
their care have
the individual attention as they would have at home. The site of over 7000 sq m
is completely fenced for the full use of the dogs and includes the woodland
areas, chosen for us to sit and talk to your dog, even in the heat of the day.
Each individual Kennel measures 2.5m x 2.5m and is protected from draughts -
each dog has its own blanket water supply and lighting - The runs are each 4m x
2.5m with a drainage channel to allow for daily cleaning - the kennels are north
facing, away from the glare of the sun, with an overhanging roof for further
shade
The owners live on site with their house being attached to the kennels, with 24 hour cctv and
full lighting on site and the access road to ensure maximum security. The
kennels have been designed using one of Crete’s’ finest architects
and so includes some of the best (practical) ideas from England, Germany
& America.
They have their own registered Vet (on call 24 hrs/day), but would
be pleased to use the clients own vet if required
