The old converted Olive Mill, circa early 1900's, is located in the mountain village of Vrouchas, a village where time seemed to have stopped. The sun shines down on the few kafenions where old men play backgammon and drink coffee/raki.

The nearest beach is the seaside village / resort of Plaka some 3 km away. Interesting places to visit is the old leper colony / island of Spinalonga which is 7 km away. Fortunately the cure for leprosy was found many years ago so a visit would be worthwhile.

The main centre for entertainment and shopping is at Elounda some 9km away and Agios Nikolaos some 10km further on.

The house consists of a main room with double sofa (sofa-bed) and a dining table and chairs. The kitchen is at the end of the very spacious room and there is plenty of space to construct and cook meals with an extractor above the hob. The walls are all exposed brickwork lending a rustic, old Greek feel to the place.

Overlooking this large room is the mezzanine containing the main bedroom with double bed. Wooden beams slanted across the top give a barn-style aura.

Downstairs from the main room there is a corridor leading to the other side door. Off this corridor is the toilet and shower and the spare bedroom.

Outside there is a grapevine running along all of the outside walls and framing a lovely patio area.
