This land is in an extraordinary position in is expected to attract

remote and very peaceful location. Being southerly facing a house
can be designed to specifically capture the wonderful views of the
Akoumianos valley. A local master stone mason has given us a
quotation of €1,150 per m² depending on the quality
of the fixtures (2005 price) for the construction of a unique stone
house made from local stone having feature arched windows and
doors, fireplace, fixtures and fitting. The house can be built to
ones own design (subject to building regulation specification). It
is therefore estimated that a good sized three bedroom house of
130m² would cost in the region of €150,000 euros

To emphasise the nature of this environment, the Agio Pnevma
Monastery and annexes are currently being renovation which give
testament to the area, and will be used by a small number of monks
