Penelope Apartments - Near Georgioupolis

This newly built
luxury apartment enjoyed it’s first season in 2003 and offers
luxurious self- catering accommodation in beautiful surroundings.
Offering studios for 2 and 3 persons, apartments for up to 5
persons.
Only 2km from Lake Kourna, an area of outstanding natural beauty,
the hotel offers magnificent views towards the white mountains and
surrounding countryside. This is excellent walking country and the
area around the lake is renowned for the wild life.
 Tavernas surround this
beautiful lake, and it is possible to hire pedalos and canoes to
ensure you get at least a little exercise. A variety of swans,
ducks and geese surround the waters edge, begging for titbits and
provide a constant source of entertainment for the younger
holidaymakers.
There is a large swimming pool and sunbathing area with a very safe
children’s pool although care must be taken to keep an eye on
the younger children at all times. The poolside patios with sun
umbrellas offers the ideal place from which to obtain that tan, and
to relax and admire the view.
 A children’s play area is also
provided with various activities available. Again, we would stress
the importance of supervision.
There is a comfortable reception area and all the apartments and
studios have air conditioning and a small kitchenettes to enable
cooking of simple meals and balconies from which to admire the
view. Satellite television is standard and the rooms large and
airy, and built to extremely high standards.
Bathrooms are fully equipped with full size baths and bath shower
mixers
Baby cots are provided on request at no extra charge.
No additional charges are made for the running of the
air-conditioning
Although close to the village of Georgioupolis and the main highway
a car is recommended. Taxis are available from the village for
those people who do not wish to drive.
Despite the setting and luxurious surroundings, for this the
opening year, prices have been kept to an absolute minimum and
represent extremely good value.
