Can accommodate up to 7 persons. The location is 5km from the main highway on the road between Magnisia and Perama. Perama being only 5 minutes drive away is convenient for all your main shopping requirements. The nearest beach at Skaleta is only 7 km away and the attractive town of Rethymno just a 15 minute drive. Heraklion and Chania airports are just 70 km in opposite directions or 60 minute drive. Many walks are available in the attractive green countryside surrounding the villa, and excursions organized. In the region are such attractions as The Monastery of Arkadi, ancient site of Elefterna, pottery village of Margarites, Melidoni cave etc. Entrance to the villa is via wrought iron gates with pathway leading up to large terrace and front entrance to the villa. Door with security shutters leads into large lounge with high ceilings and open gallery. The attractive fireplace would be the focal point during winter months, which with the addition of the oil fired central heating, would provide ample warmth. Satellite television is available for your entertainment, also a CD player. The lounge is fully furnished and offers a bed settee for additional sleeping arrangements. The large lounge kitchen and diner have the benefit of air conditioning. Doors to the side lead on to the terrace , and the 35 m2 pool on a lower level. The kitchen is beautifully equipped, with many electrical appliances in addition to the usual white goods. A dishwasher and washing machine are also installed. Dining table and chairs occupy a position between the kitchen and lounge. Bedroom one leads off the lounge, has twin beds, air-conditioning, and fully fitted floor to ceiling wardrobes plus bedside cabinet and doors leading to the outside terrace. Next to bedroom one and also leading off the lounge is a fully tiled toilet and shower room. An ornamental spiral staircase leads on to a large gallery landing with windows with sea views. This landing is equipped with easy chairs and a bed settee, which can convert this gallery into a sleeping area. It would also lend itself to a comfortable chatting area during the daytime. A bathroom complete with bath, wash hand basin, and W.C. lead off the gallery landing. The master bedroom next to the bathroom has a double bed, floor to ceiling wall cupboards bedside units and of course air-conditioning. Villa Adonis is available throughout the year (winter lets at a much reduced price) having full central heating facilities, and indoor entertainment via the satellite TV, etc. For every new arrival a welcome pack will be provided containing basic initial needs. i.e. bread, yogurt, beers, wine, olive oil, salt and pepper, vinegar, marmalade, coffee, fruit and vegetables. The outside Laid to a mixture of lawn and paved areas. The pool has a safe, children’s pool in one corner, and is surrounded by non-slip river stone tiles. In the corner of the garden near the pool is an outside brick built covered barbecue. The garden offers uninterrupted views of the sea and surrounding countryside. Many flowering shrubs grace the grounds, watered by an automatic electric timer. The surrounding walls of stone and the internal garden walls have attractive lighting for evening enjoyment. All the patio and garden furniture is of extremely high quality, and the huge sun umbrellas are of very sturdy design offering large shady areas under. Full cleaning service with linen and towel changes twice weekly In addition to the above the grounds contain large water storage tank, oil storage tank and boiler room. Particular attention has been paid to electrical safety, essential when a pool and electrical filtration systems exist.
