Tylissos - Tylissos Crete
The Location
 This
villa is situated on the north east side of the Psiloritis mountains and
some 13 kilometres south west of Heraklion in a large inland village of some
1000 permanent residence inland but within a short distance of the sea. It is an
old ancient village that still retains it's name since the Minoan period, when
it was a flourishing in depended town, a friend to the powerful city of Knossos.
The Property
This is a unique place to stay ideally suited for one or two couples who wish to
explore the beauty of inland Crete.
The
villa comprises of very large lounge and feature fireplace, fully fitted
kitchen, bathroom, two large double bedrooms and a very attractive courtyard. This
traditional stone build village cottage has been recently renovated in the
distinctive style of renown Cretan architect Suzanna
 Antonakakis and so has a
modern twist. Located at the heart of the village, this charming property offers
a unique opportunity for relaxation, reflection and long walks in the nearby
olive-groves that surround the village.
It can sleep up to 6 persons and is fully furnished, mixing a touch of the
modern with traditional elements and textiles from the Cretan tradition.
This is house for people who like simplicity and the original style of inland
Crete. Rental price in open to negotiation, dependent upon season and
availability.
