Dear Steve,

We discovered Crete Connections in the summer of 2005 when we became interested in purchasing a property in Crete. A search of Google quickly revealed the Crete Connections web site, which presented a range of properties that we found interesting; each with a clear and precise descriptions.

We contacted Ralph Lynch, who proved to be invaluable to us on many levels. Ralph was a 'font of all knowledge' on all aspects of Crete, both relating to the purchase process and to lifestyle considerations from a British perspective. Ralph had moved from the UK to Crete five years before so we were confident that we were being given a true account of what life would be like from someone who could understand our needs and outlook. At times we felt that we were suffocating Ralph with questions, but he was always extremely supportive and generous in his response; his patience and attention to detail we exceptional.

We are currently unable to drive - considerable limiting factor when purchasing a house in Crete. Ralph, seeing our predicament came to our rescue. He arranged viewings and joxied us to each property; drove us to and from the airport  during our multiple visits to the island; became our guide and showed us key tourist attractions and areas of beauty; transported us to numerous meetings with lawyers, bank and government officials and councillors; helped us choose, purchase and install furniture; and he continues to mind our property while we're in the UK.

In short, Ralph left no stone unturned in his aim to provide a comprehensive, helpful and considerate service. We were astonished by the vast amount of time and attention he gave us, which we felt was above and beyond what we would naturally expect of any agent. And it was all delivered with warmth , friendliness and a good deal of good humour. You would expect such a service to involve additional cost implications but to our surprise the fees we were charged were of a standard rate applicable for property purchase. In fact, they were actually scaled down for us.

We now consider Ralph to be a friend and we have his family on several occasions. Without his thoughtful help and and advise we would not not have been able to proceed with the purchase and we can not thank him (and Crete Connections) enough.  for putting Crete on the map for us in the way he has. Ralph has made our life possible in Crete possible.

We are honoured to give a glowing testament to Ralph and the services offered by Crete Connections.
